Why Women & Their Dogs?

What we hear over and over from our clients is that their dog has been everything to them, often getting them through a difficult or challenging time with health or relationships. We are passionate about documenting the deeper relationships that make life better. The bond between women and their dogs is so beautiful and inspiring. It’s a hard fact that we never feel we get enough time with our dogs, and that they leave us too soon.
It’s time to celebrate “Dog Moms “with a beautiful gallery show featuring portraits of women alongside their dogs. Our art opening on September 5th, 2025 at our Flagship Lockhart Location will feature 50 incredible women and dogs, displayed on our walls and on digital displyas and celebrated in style. JENNIFER LINDBERG STUDIOS IS A RENOWNED B&W PORTRAIT STUDIO HEADQUARTERED IN LOCKHART, TEXAS. WE LOVE TO GO ON THE ROAD!

By popular demand, the Studio has opened limited availability in select Texas Towns. (Waco, Brenham, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Midland/Odessa, Corpus Christi, Lubbock, Abilene, Houston, and Pearland.) When you work with us at one of our Studios “on the road,” you’ll have the privilege of being personally photographed by Jenn Lindberg herself—the Co-Founder and namesake of JL Studios. JLS is one of the most sought after B&W portrait photography studios in Texas.

CAN I BUY THE PHOTOGRAPHS?

Of course! From the comfort of your own home, you will have a fun and very special reveal and ordering appointment on Zoom where you look at your stunning portraits about one week after your shoot. This is your time to order any of your favorites. Should you fall head over heels (which we’re pretty sure you will) with any of your portraits, we’ll help guide you through the options, ensuring the best fit for you and your family. At that time, you’ll apply your gift certificate towards your purchase.

Our artwork starts at $595; and most clients typically spend $1500 and up on their selected portraits.

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

Our Pop Up Studio is in Brenham, close to College Station and not far from Houston. Most of our clients drive 30 minutes to 3 hours to come and see us, and often make a day of it here because Brenham is so historic, walkable and cute. The physical address for our Pop Up is: 115 W Alamo St, Brenham, TX 77833. Parking is free and on the street.

The bond between women and dogs deserves to be celebrated. This mission drives us! What better way to celebrate Dog Moms than through having a gallery exhibit and show featuring REAL women and their dogs, with the opening party set for September 5th, 2025 in Lockhart.. (Limit one session per client every 12 months as part of any special project or promotion.)

No, we are looking for REAL women and the dogs they love for our portfolios. Our clients are real people so we prefer to show real people in our exhibit. We’d love to be able to share the many faces of Dog Motherhood–with a wide variety of Dogs!

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring along other important family members, like a spouse if applicable, or grandparents. There is no charge for additional family members and we’ll include them for a part of your session; for example, at the end.

We block out an hour for your appointment. A standard session takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on the number of dogs in the pack and people in the family and if there is an outfit change. Most clients prefer to do two “looks” or outfits as part of our projects. Time is included for you to change clothes; no need to arrive early.

Unfortunately in the past when we offered complimentary sessions without any confirmation fee, we experienced many last minute cancellations and no shows. We now require a $99 nonrefundable reservation fee to book your time on the studio’s calendar. This is not lost; you can apply it towards your order.

No need to worry! Once your session is booked, we’ll send you ideas on what to wear and what works best in B&W and with our studio’s signature style.

One of our dedicated designers will review your portraits via Zoom within 1-2 weeks after your session. During this white-glove service meeting, you’ll select your favorite portraits and presentations that best suit your home and budget.

All orders are placed during this Zoom reveal, which clients often describe as a meaningful experience. (Bring tissues – happy tears happen!) We recommend both partners attend, if applicable, as this is typically a meaningful process where both typically want input.

Our goal is to help you check “choosing and ordering portraits” off your to-do list. After going to the trouble of creating these beautiful portraits, you can start enjoying them sooner instead of putting it off for “someday.” Second Zoom appointments can be challenging to schedule as we are typically booked out weeks in advance and incur an additional cost.
