Complimentary Portrait Session

I’ve Received a Complimentary Portrait Session. What do I receive?

From time to time, the JL Studio runs a special project that will include a complimentary session. If this applies to you, you’ll be photographed in B&W by an award-winning Portrait Artist at the exclusive luxury Jennifer Lindberg Studio at no charge to you. (Session fee is  $750 per session.)

HAVING THESE PORTRAITS IS LIKE HAVING A VISUAL REPRESENTATION AND TREASURED REMINDER OF THE COUNTLESS MOMENTS OF LOVE, CONNECTION, AND JOY SHARED BETWEEN A MOTHER AND HER CHILDREN.

Visit Us in the heart of Lockhart

JENNIFER LINDBERG STUDIOS IS A RENOWNED B&W PORTRAIT STUDIO HEADQUARTERED IN LOCKHART, TEXAS.

CAN I BUY THE PHOTOGRAPHS?

Of course! While there’s absolutely no obligation to buy any of the images, you will have a fun and very special viewing session on Zoom where you look at your stunning portraits one week after your shoot in the comfort of your own home. Should you fall head over heels (which we’re pretty sure you will) with any of your images, we’ll help guide you through the options, ensuring the best fit for you and your family. At that time, you can apply your gift certificate toward any purchase.

Our artwork starts at $495; and most clients typically spend $1500 and up on their selected portraits.

Can my whole family be Photographed?

Yes! We will be happy to photograph your whole family at no extra cost.  Whether that’s just you and one special other, or parents and all the kids, everyone is welcome at Jennifer Lindberg Studios.

as Seen in

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

Our Studio is in Lockhart, close to Austin and not far from San Antonio. Most of our clients drive 30 minutes to 3 hours to come and see us, and often make a day of it here because the town is so historic, walkable and cute. (And BBQ!) Be sure to visit our local art galleries, vintage and antique stores, cafe’s and Bookery that many children–and adults–love! Our physical address is: 103 E. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, 78644.

Yes, of course, you have the opportunity to purchase photographs at your reveal/ordering meeting. This special and fun meeting takes place via Zoom a week after your portrait session. Please note, no on-line proofs or printed proofs are available with our Studio.

This Zoom meeting is when you will view your beautiful portraits, select your favorites and apply your gift certificate towards any order you’d like to make. (No order required.) As a guide, the Studio’s artwork begins at $495 and most clients spend $1500 and up on their finished artwork. Interest free payment plans are available for some artwork options. Please see the Studio’s Artwork section for more information on pricing and offerings.

If you are unable to attend your Zoom appointment, please provide us as much  notice as possible, with at least 72 hours advance notice. No shows result in the full forfeiture of any paid fees to cover lost appointment costs.

We store and archive everything you purchase for one year, in case you’d like to come back and order more from those ordered portraits; for example, a larger wall art piece. Unordered portraits are purged regularly to accommodate new client workflows.

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring along other important family members, like a spouse if applicable, or grandparents. There is no charge for additional family members and we’ll include them for a part of your session; for example, at the end.

We block out an hour for your appointment. A standard session takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on the number of people in the family and if there is an outfit change. We prefer to do two “looks” or outfits as part of our projects.

Our team comes together to provide a special and unique portrait experience for your family. We are a busy boutique studio with a calendar that often books up in advance, especially on weekends and we cannot easily adjust appointments.

Rescheduling an appointment with less than 7 days notice will result in the forfeit of the reservation retainer fee.

Reservation holding fees on appointments rescheduled with more than 7 days notice are reapplied for one occurrence to the new appointment.

Refunds are not available for fully cancelled appointments or for missed Zoom Reveal appointments.

Because we create a truly custom Portrait Experience for each client, we block out exclusive time with our studio and staff for every appointment, with most portrait artists traveling in from outside of Lockhart for your session. By collecting  a reservation holding fee,  we are booking clients who are just as committed as we are to creating beautiful family portraits as we are! Having a refundable reservation fee cuts down on cancellations and no-shows, which enables our studio to staff, plan and serve all families at the highest level, including for special complimentary sessions. Please note that your reservation fee may be applied toward your portrait artwork order as a credit should you choose or is cheerfully refunded to you should you decide not to place an order with us at your ordering session.

You do need not arrive early to change! There is time built into your appointment for a “meet and greet” with your Portrait Artist as well as for changing into your portrait clothing, if desired. The Studio has a dedicated changing room for your comfort with a full length mirror.
Please arrive on time for your session (not early) so that you can have a fully private and exclusive appointment at our studio and to help ensure other families before and after you can have the same opportunity.

One of our dedicated designers will review your portraits with you on Zoom within 1-2 weeks after your session, allowing you to experience and reflect on the beauty of your family using our fun and efficient selection process and unique software. As you select your favorite portraits and presentations that best suit your home, aesthetic and budget, we’ll help you to feel confident in your decisions.

All orders are placed and taken care of at this meeting as on-line postings and printed proofs to take home are not available. The Zoom reveal is often described as one of our clients’ favorite and most memorable parts of working with us. Please review the Artwork Section of our website to see some of our most popular artwork for our clients.

An important note: If you are married or partnered, both you and your spouse or partner will not want to miss this Zoom, which currently takes place by appointment on Fridays and Sundays. Why is this? In most relationships, both members tend to like having at least some input (either financial or aesthetic) in the selection process. It’s also emotional, and happy tears can and do often happen. (Bring tissues, just in case!) Too many times, we have heard extreme regret when a partner has not been able to attend so while it is not required, it is strongly encouraged. Second Zoom appointments are expensive and can be challenging to accommodate as we are a boutique studio that is booked to a limited capacity so that we may serve our clients at the highest levels of attention and detail.

If selected, each participant will pay a refundable retainer reservation fee to officially book a scheduled time and date on the Studio’s calendar. For a non profit project, a $100 non refundable participation fee also goes to the charity.

For even more information, contact form and we’ll get in touch ASAP.
