We have worked with the Jennifer Lindberg Studio twice now. Both times for our family photos and both times our photos came out amazing. Our first time, we had Jen and her husband as out photographers and they were a delight. That was about 6 years ago. More recently we had other photographers who were also very nice. Maybe we took long to get ready, but the session seemed shorter the second time. I don't feel like the photographers gave us enough direction or caught little things like a bra showing or shirt buttons a little open. All that was fixed in editing, though. I also feel that my husband got more pics centered around him with our kids than I did. It would have been nice to have more of me alone, too. My one compared to everyone else's 3-4 was a little disappointing. In the end, the photos came out so beautiful, and we will definitely use Jennifer Lindberg Studio for our future family photos. Everyone is so nice and we always get so many compliments on our photos. We will treasure them forever.

We had such a wonderful experience with Jennifer Lindberg Studio. My dog has mobility challenges, and the photographer and assistant were incredibly patient, gentle, and accommodating. They made sure my pup was comfortable every step of the way, never rushed us, and reassured me that they were able to capture some great shoots despite the challenges. The entire process from scheduling to ordering was professional yet very personal, and the portraits turned out absolutely beautiful. They captured my dog’s spirit in a way I will always treasure. I answered an ad on Facebook to do a “women and their dogs” photo shoot. It just happened to come when my 13 year old golden doodle was very ill and I was afraid we were losing her. We drove 2 1/2 hours to the fabulous studio where we were greeted by two of the kindest and most patient people. They completely put both me and my dog at ease and encouraged the most amazing photos out of us. I had planned on purchasing only a single portrait, but when I saw the portfolio, I literally cried. They were so much better than I ever dreamed. I’ve never in my life been happy with pictures of myself…yet these I absolutely loved. So I did what I had to do and bought a much larger package than I expected. I thoroughly recommend Jennifer Lindbergh Studio. Well worth it!!

We did a photoshoot with our two dogs. You can imagine how high the energy was. I doubted we would get many good shots in just an hour-long shoot, but to my surprise, we ended up with so many incredible images that I was ready to take out a loan to buy them all. lol jk. It was hard to narrow it down to 20 images, but we did, and now have photos that we will forever cherish. We had to put one of our dogs down shortly after the shoot, so I cannot express how much it means to have gotten these beautiful photos of him. He's forever in our hearts and a reminder on our wall of what he brought to our family.

CAN I BUY THE PHOTOGRAPHS?

Of course! One to two weeks after your portrait session, you will have a fun and very special reveal and ordering appointment on Zoom. This is when you look at your stunning portraits in the comfort of your own home and place an order anything you’d like to have for yourself. Should you fall head over heels (which we’re pretty sure you will), we’ll help guide you through the options, ensuring the best fit for you and your aesthetic and budget. At that time, you can apply your gift certificate toward the purchase you make.

Our artwork starts at $495; and most clients typically spend $1500 and up on their selected portraits.

How Do I Book My Session?

To book your session, please fill out our short form below. We’ll review it quickly and get in touch with you via text and email. We schedule all of our sessions after a short phone call to confirm we’re a good fit and to select your session and reveal dates. Sessions are limited and are being scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to respond quickly if we contact you. Right now, those who book their small dog sessions will be randomly entered to win a feature in our small dogs magazine.

Our Studio is in Lockhart, close to Austin and not far from San Antonio. Most of our clients drive 30 minutes to 3 hours to come and see us, and often make a day of it here because the town is so historic, walkable and cute. (And BBQ!) Be sure to visit our local art galleries, vintage and antique stores, cafe’s and Mister Brown’s Pet Shop that many of our clients–love! Our physical address is: 103 E. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, 78644.

The bond between humans and dogs deserves to be celebrated–with dogs of all sizes and types. Right now, we are focusing on small dogs as our creative inspiration. We’re excited to have unique portraits of small dogs featured in a gorgeous magazine to keep forever. We will notify selected dog parents so that they can preview and purchase a magazine if they wish. (Limit one session per client every 12 months as part of any special project.)

No, we are looking for REAL people and the dogs they love for our portfolios. Our clients are real people so we prefer to show real people in our exhibit. We’d love to be able to share the many faces of parenthood–including dog parents!

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring along other important family members, like human children if applicable, or grandparents. There is no charge for additional family members and we’ll include them for a part of your session; for example, at the end.

We block out an hour for your appointment. A standard session takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on the number of dogs in the pack and people in the family and if there is an outfit change. We prefer to do two “looks” or outfits as part of our projects. Time is included for you to change clothes; no need to arrive early.

Unfortunately in the past when we offered complimentary sessions without any confirmation fee, we experienced many last minute cancellations and no shows. We now require a $99 nonrefundable reservation fee to book your time on the studio’s calendar. You can choose to apply it towards your order.

No need to worry! Once your session is booked, we’ll send you ideas on what to wear and what works best in B&W and with our studio’s signature style. You can also read our blog post here:

One of our dedicated designers will review your portraits with you on Zoom within 1-2 weeks after your session, allowing you to experience and reflect on the beauty of your pack using our fun and efficient selection process and unique software. As you select your favorite portraits and presentations that best suit your home, aesthetic and budget, we’ll help you to feel confident in your ordering decisions as you select your favorites.

All orders are placed and taken care of at this meeting as on-line postings and printed proofs to take home are not available. The Zoom reveal is often described as one of our clients’ favorite and most memorable parts of working with us. Please review the Artwork Section of our website to see some of our most popular artwork for our clients.

An important note: If you are married or partnered, both you and your spouse or partner will not want to miss this Zoom, which currently takes place by appointment on Fridays and Sundays. Why is this? In most relationships, both members tend to like having at least some input (either financial or aesthetic) in the selection process. It’s also emotional, and happy tears can and do often happen. (Bring tissues, just in case!) Too many times, we have heard extreme regret when a partner has not been able to attend so while it is not required, it is strongly encouraged. Second Zoom appointments are expensive and can be challenging to accommodate as we are a boutique studio that is booked to a limited capacity so that we may serve our clients at the highest levels of attention and detail.
